Conversion of the file format from DWG to TCW
When I create a dxf (or a dwg) file from a turbocad drawing that is genrated from a 3D solid model the resulting dxf file does not contain lines and arcs in the drawing image. The drawing image seems to be made up of short segments. That's not a problem if the dxf or dwg file is for viewing but if the drawing.

A file conversion is just a change of the file that was created in one program (DWG file) to a form intelligible for another program (i.e. TCW format). There are many websites offering file conversion of DWG to TCW files 'Online' - without having to download a special program to your computer. However, if you have not found the appropriate DWG file converter in the Internet, you can use our list of programs to cope with the conversion of the DWG to TCW file.

How to convert the DWG file to TCW?
If you have already downloaded one of the converters and installed it on your computer, you can proceed to the appropriate conversion process of DWG to TCW. Handling all the programs is usually very intuitive and is based on the same pattern of conduct. We will briefly discuss a few steps that you always need to go through while changing the format of the DWG file:
- Please indicate on your computer the source file DWG, the format of which you are going to change
- Load the DWG file to the application
- Select the output format of the TCW file (the one that we want to achieve)
- Select the location to save the output file TCW on the disk (the place where the program will save the converted file)
- Confirm conversion
- Wait for a moment
- Enjoy the converted TCW file that can be found in the location selected in step 4
I cannot see the file extensions. What should I do?
File extensions are not normally displayed to users. To change this, go to Control Panel, select Appearance and Personalization and Folder Options. Next, select the View and find the option 'Hide extensions for known file types'. The option should be deselected (cleared) and confirmed with OK.

Hi Ray
I new to this site and Im just finding out how to do things, If you want to upload a .dxf file just upload it directly not as a ZIp File.
And if you want it viewed on site as a picture save the dxf as a .jpeg file and upload it as a render.
Hope this is of some help to you
Kind Regards

Both formats can be uploaded directly (along with a jpeg rendering to make it more user friendly/visible). If you are a TC user, upload in both formats as you will receive requests to convert to .dxf if only .tcw files are made available.
